What are your usual delivery timeframes?

Once you have received your order confirmation email, please allow:

  • Urban delivery: 3-5 business days
  • Rural delivery: Within 10 business days
  • Outer Island delivery: 15-21 business days.

We always strive to ensure on-time delivery. There may be instances when a parcel delivery may be delayed due to the New Zealand Courier having a substantial back-log, or for international delivery or the delay could be due to a customs clearance check.

Can I still place an order during Covid lockdown restrictions, and when will it be delivered?

Yes, you can still shop with Dove Hospice here online during Covid lockdown restrictions. We will have ‘essential items’ available for purchase, along with our usual product range.

Any essential items ordered by customers between the initial lockdown period of Wednesday 18th August – Tuesday 24th August will be shipped once the level changes to 3 and below. We will update these details as we receive updates from the government on the level restrictions. Any orders not classes as ‘essential’ will be shipped out at level 2.

The below ‘delivery time frames’ will still apply however there will be some delays.

During a Level 4+ lockdown, our Click & Collect services will not be available. We hope to offer a click and collect service at Level 3.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we do. Please follow this link for details on NZ post international shipping.

Who Will deliver my Order?

NZ Post Courier or Fastway courier.

Can I change my delivery address after my order has been placed?

Yes, just email us within 24 hours from the time you have placed your order at customerservice@dovehospice.com and provide your new shipping address.

If your parcel cannot be delivered it will be returned to us. Our customer service team will contact you (by email or phone) to confirm your delivery address and if you would like to Dove Hospice online shop to resend your order.

After 24 hours, if we do get a reply from you, Dove Hospice will process a refund which may takes 3-5 business days to be processed back into your account.

What if I am not home when my order arrives?

If you provide authority to leave during checkout, you are allowing our carriers to leave the package unattended at your address without a signature.

If the carrier believes the location is not secure, they will not leave the items unattended.

If you do not provide authority to leave, our carriers will leave a note directing you with next steps.
